Touch wood!! Once in a blue moon if we do have a heated discussion, we just talk it over and carry on.. It is fun this way too.. I think what amazes me are the striking similarities between so many married couples. Some of the differences are definitely genetic: X & Y, yin & yang and so on. Otherwise why would a wife want a spick-and-span house while the husband want a nicely lived-in look (or perhaps the other way around). And so many of these are really cries for attention: the special treatment we used to get during the honeymoon or pre-marital courtship. Thanks for the brave and frank post. I write when I'm upset and make myself the victim. I start counting from the first phone call where I spent money and time and energy to the latest feud and I leave it at a very prominent place and mumble all night if I don't sleep. I also skip dinner when we have a fight, but eat chocolate ice cream to ward off depression, you know? Also, in some situations, I leave a note making him the victim and criticize myself so severely that he gets upset :P and says sorry a million times. But then again, I'm only married for two years and have just broken some glasses here and there. But last night, he didn't come running behind me - cursing me on how I made him walk in his veshti while I walked out. Things have changed, I guess no? :( Long comment!
